Andi Weimann says making it at Aston Villa has been a dream come true.
Weimann is finally establishing himself at Villa after arriving at the club for a trial when he was still only 15. He quickly knuckled down to a complete change of environment and set himself on the path to make it in the game.
He said: "This is my dream. I'm nowhere near where I want to be yet, but I couldn't wish for any more. I appreciate it.
"I just want to keep things going. Getting the no.10 shirt was a big thing to me. When you are on the pitch it doesn't matter whether you are no.10 or no.50, you are still going to play the same way.
"But it means a lot to me because I've been here six years coming through the ranks from the academy. It's special.
"One of the hardest things to get used to was beans for breakfast. I love schnitzel but I've not seen any Austrian restaurants in Birmingham - maybe I should open one."
