Aston Villa striker Andreas Weimann has told the club's fans to ignore reports in national newspapers which claim he could be heading for the Villa Park exit, reports the Birmingham Mail. The Austrian, who has scored 10 Premier League goals for Villa this season, reacted to a report that he had rejected a new contract offer.
"I've always been happy here," he tweeted, adding: "Talks are ongoing."
