Wout Weghorst says no-one at Manchester United have told him he will be sent back to Burnley this summer.
It's been suggested United will pass on signing Weghorst permanently when his loan expires at the end of the season.
But he told The Times: "In my conversations with the club, they have said that they are satisfied with me. It certainly hasn't been communicated that it doesn't want me to stay.
"They appreciate my qualities and they believe that I am an asset to the team.
"Of course I've heard the opposite in the media, but I have to wait and see what happens, and in the meantime I have to focus on our goals in the league and cups."
