Huddersfield Town chief David Webb is delighted seeing Emile Smith Rowe thrive at Arsenal.
Webb was involved in the loan season Smith Rowe spent in Yorkshire.
"Huddersfield was a place where Emile could really test his character," he told the Telegraph. "It was a chance for him to come into an environment where it was survival mode.
"There were so many different challenges and he took it all in his stride.
"He is quite a shy character, not a dominant personality, but he integrates really well. He was willing to fight for the cause."
