Hull City goalkeeper Boaz Myhill knows the team has to perform better, especially for the loyal Tigers fans.
The Welsh shot-stopper, who was brilliant in Hull's 1-0 loss to Birmingham on Saturday, says the results have to improve and the players have to show more fight.
"I refuse to criticise our fans for booing us off the pitch," he said.
"They have followed us all over the place in all kinds of divisions and we'll do better for them next week, we've got to.
"We've got a Carling Cup tie against a big club in Everton on Wednesday so we should take no lifting for that.
"Then we've got an unbelievable game at Anfield which shouldn't need anyone to be lifted either.
"We've got to get on with it, we've got to fight for each other, fight for the club and fight for the manager.
"The Premier League is a difficult place. We know we have to be at it and when things are going right for us it's because we're all doing well."
