Mark Watson is set to be appointed as the full-time San Jose Earthquakes head coach.
The 43-year old former Canadian international took over from Frank Yallop in June in an interim role but it is believed that he has agreed to take the reins on a less temporary basis.
CenterLineSoccer.com suggests that Watson has agreed terms to a long-term deal with the Quakes after guiding them to an impressive record of 11-5-3 in the second half of the season.
