Laurence Bassini has confirmed he will join the club's board of directors as well as being the owner. The rest of the board will remain unchanged, with Graham Taylor continuing as chairman and Stuart Timperley and David Fransen as non-executive directors.
"I've spent a lot of time with these three men - Graham, Stuart and David - and honestly feel that we're going in the right direction and that the upheaval which adding new people would bring is not what Watford needs right now," Bassini told the club's website.
"There are Watford people here, and I get what that means. So we're moving forward together now."
