Newcastle fullback Jamal Lewis could be heading away from the club for this season.

The 25-year-old, who has been at the Magpies since 2020, is not a first team regular.

Per The Mail, Lewis is wanted on loan by Championship side Watford, who are promising him regular game time.

Despite being a Newcastle player for nearly three years, he only has 36 appearances to his name.

The Northern Ireland star wants to play regularly and is willing to drop down to the Championship.

For their part, Newcastle are eager to let him go, as they are targeting a new right back in Southampton's Tino Livramento.
