Watford have stolen a march on Southampton in their pursuit of Swedish teen Rafael York.

Saints have been tracking the Sandvikens IF winger.

However, Expressen says York is due to have trials with Watford.

"Rafael is a great talent, followed by clubs all over Europe. Now the Pozzo organization (Giampaolo Pozzo is the owner of Watford, Granada and Udinese) have their eyes on him," says agent Patrick Mork.

"It will be interesting to see if he manages to convince Watford. Then, if it leads to him being placed in Granada, Watford or Udinese. We shall see."
