Watford and Udinese are ready to work together to sign Le Havre midfielder Pape Gueye.
The 21 year-old has shone this season, attracting interest from across the continent.
Le 10 Sport says Watford are eager to tempt Gueye across the channel this summer - though have plans of placing him at Serie A sister club Udinese for next season.
Gueye would sign for the Hornets, before being loaned to the Zebrette for the new campaign. Both clubs are owned by the Pozzo family.
The youngster, off contract in June, is now in advanced talks with Watford over a Bosman move.
