Thiago Alcantara is expected to see more action for Liverpool tonight at Southampton as he builds his way back to full match fitness.

Having endured an injury-plagued start to his career with the Reds - having arrived in the summer from Bayern Munich - there remains huge expectations around the Spain international given the form shown in fleeting appearances so far.

For Thiago, it all started 15 years ago at Barcelona's famed La Masia academy, where he was first signed from ED Val Minor Nigran. And ahead of tonight's game at St Mary's, enjoy some of the now 29 year-old's best moments as a youth teamer coming through the Barca system.
