Plenty of great players talk about 'giving back' later in their careers to the clubs and competitions which developed them, but very few have matched what Ronaldo Nazario did for Corinthians in the final years of his career.

After a stellar career in Europe with PSV Eindhoven, Barcelona, Inter Milan, Real Madrid and AC Milan, Ronaldo returned home to Brazil to sign for Corinthians in 2009.

Over two years, the twice Ballon d'Or winner won the Paulista and the Copa with Corinthians, plus ploughed part of his fortune into improving the club's training facilities.

Today, Ronaldo is owner and president of LaLiga's Real Valladolid. Enjoy this tribute to Ronaldo for two special years with Corinthians.
