Aston Villa assistant manager John Terry offered little in terms of celebration after they took lead against his beloved Chelsea yesterday.
After being up against it for most of the first half, Kortney Hause scrambled home an opener against the run of play after a delightful Douglas Luiz cross had caused chaos at the back post.
As Villa players celebrated, the cameras panned to Terry and manager Dean Smith in the stands at an empty Villa Park. While Smith punched the air in celebration, JT was more low-key.
It was always going to be tough for the Blues legend, who eventually saw his team overrun by Chelsea to lose 2-1 on the day.
That John Terry “celebration” in full.
