Chelsea starlet Ola Aina scored a spectacular goal from halfway as the Blues U-21s defeated Tottenham U-21s 5-2 in the quarterfinals of the Premier League International Cup on Thursday.

Aina's strike evoked memories of David Beckham's stunning long-range goal for Manchester United against Wimbledon in 1996.

The 19-year-old carried the ball to the halfway line before spotting Spurs goalkeeper Tom Glover off his line, and unleashing a wickedly struck ball that fizzed through the air and into the back of the net.
