Former Lazio and Juventus defender Stephan Lichtsteiner has announced his retirement at the age of 36.
The former Switzerland captain hangs up the boots after being with Augsburg last season. Before then he had a season with Arsenal.
The defender spent 10 years in Serie A, picking up the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italian with Lazio, before moving to continue his success with Juventus.
Lichtsteiner won seven Scudetti, four Coppa Italia and three Supercoppa Italiana during his time in Turin, before moving to Arsenal in August 2019.
The Swiss spoke on social media about his retirement:
