Jon Walters is delighted with the way he's fought back at Stoke City this season.
The striker admits he feared for his future earlier in the campaign.
"We were losing games and I wasn't getting on, that made me worry more than anything," admitted Walters, 31, to the Daily Mail. "I was going away with Ireland asking a few of the lads how many games they'd played. The Championship lads were saying, '15, 20...'. I'd played two. Jesus!
"Martin O'Neill and Roy Keane showed a lot of faith to play me. Then I came on (for Stoke) against Swansea when we were chasing the game and I scored. Since then I've stayed in the team."
