Geordie legend Chris Waddle declared Zlatan Ibrahimovic best afield as Manchester United thumped Leicester City 4-1.

The Swede didn't get on the scoresheet, but was superb with his link play.

Waddle told BBC Sport: "I'd say Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been the best player across the game, heavily involved in almost everything good Manchester United have done.

"Paul Pogba was superb in the first half but has faded."

On Leicester, Waddle added: "It's going to be a tough season for Leicester. Some players will be complacent and other will lose form. It's up to Claudio Ranieri, the manager, to address the situation.

"And it's particularity concerning that they keep conceding goals, especially in the league. That was something which didn't happen last season when the Foxes were very solid. Today, for example, four conceded, three from set pieces."
