Vorm satisfied with Swansea progress

Swansea City goalkeeper Michel Vorm is delighted to be a part of an ever-improving side at the Liberty Stadim.

The Dutchman has been one of the stars of the show as the promoted club finds themselves in 11th position and is thrilled with their progress following yesterday's 1-0 victory over pre-round league leaders Manchester City.

"You can see the progression we have made since the first game against them. We don't panic if we don't score in the first half. We just continue to play our own game," he said.

"At the beginning of the season we drew a few games 0-0, but now we win those types of matches. If you want to beat the big teams you have to be patient and we showed that.

"After the Arsenal game (3-2 win in January) we really got the respect we deserved," he added. "Now everyone is talking about Swansea - even in Holland. Brendan (Rodgers) has made us believe and with the quality we have and we know we can beat anybody.

"Proud is a good word to describe how everyone is feeling here."
