Johann Vogel feels he has already made progress in his short career at Blackburn after making his third Rovers appearance at the weekend.
And he told the club's official website: "I played against Tottenham, Liverpool and now Manchester United - three very difficult games and after 10 months without playing.
"But I think I've made a step forward for the future and that is good.
"Physically I can be better and with the ball also, but against United I think it was a good performance like all of the team and that is positive for the future."
