Aston Villa captain Ron Vlaar says fans can be excited about the potential of their young team.

While Vlaar warns Villa are not yet safe, he says it is obvious Paul Lambert's young team are maturing at a rapid rate.

"We have a lot of young guys in our team and you can see in our play and the results that it is getting better, even against the bigger teams," he told Voetbal Primeur.
