The agent of Emiliano Viviano admits a move to Inter Milan will not happen.
A free agent, the former Sampdoria, Fiorentina and Sporting CP goalkeeper has been in talks with Inter.
“The agreement was clear from the very start: nobody promised us anything," assured agent Claudio Vigorelli to Tuttomercatoweb.
“The club had some problems when (Samir) Handanovic was injured, but after evaluating the situation carefully, they decided to continue with the goalkeepers already in their squad.
“We were pleased to receive attention from Inter and thank them for their interest. Emiliano was one of the protagonists for SPAL last season and will continue training as he waits for the next challenge."
