Vitesse fullback Max Clarke draws inspiration from former Hull City teammate Andrew Robertson.

The 24-year-old, who plays for Vitesse, was deputy to Robertson at the KC and says the Liverpool defender is “the best left back in the world".

Clark told The Times: “Andy's the best left back in the world right now. Just seeing how he has progressed shows me it is possible. I want to keep striving to have a pathway like Andy's.

"I'm so happy for him. He's a great guy, a funny guy and deserves it.“

Clark has been scouted by the Reds this season.
