Vissel Kobe midfielder Andres Iniesta says he's trying to delay his retirement for as long as possible.

Iniesta has been linked with a return to Barcelona in a coaching role within La Masia.

But he told El Larguero: "If God wants and nothing happens, I will try to play two more years. Visualising myself in any scenario like that (coaching) doesn't make sense.

"I don't hide with the idea that I would like to return to Barça at some point in my life , when I'm ready."

Iniesta added: "I think I will try to finish being a coach.

"As time goes by, I like the idea more, I feel identified with that figure."
