Aston Villa striker Marlon Harewood is pleased with his first weeks on-loan at Newcastle United.

He told the Evening Chronicle: "I just can't wait to start playing really.

"I just want to get on the pitch and score goals. I want to help the lads out to win football matches. The team has been playing really well, so I have to show in training that I can go and do a job for them.

"It's my job to score some goals and bring something different to them.

"I'll hold the ball up and challenge for the ball and score goals."
