Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi insists he isn't bothered by the competition for a place in Italy's squad.
With calls for Sampdoria forward Antonio Cassano and Juventus' Amauri to be involved, Rossi says: "They are two great players, but these voices could just charge us up.
"Nevertheless, I'm just going down my own road. I'm here to give my best."
He added: "It's true that we haven't scored for three matches, but these things happen in this game.
"We haven't got a goal problem and so it is not weighing us down. Italy have a host of strikers who can score at any moment. That will be clear in the next two games."
