Villarreal winger Arnaut Danjuma underwent an Everton medical on Saturday.

The Blues are set to complete a loan deal this week, says the Daily Mail.

Everton have fought off interest from the Cherries, while Nottingham Forest were also interested, but Danjuma made the decision to move to Merseyside on Friday.

Everton manager Frank Lampard is keen to add more attacking options to his side after the arrival of the Netherlands man, particularly as interest builds in Anthony Gordon.

Gordon was of high interest from Chelsea in the summer but is now being chased by Newcastle, who are looking to maintain their push for a top four finish.
