Villarreal striker Gerard Moreno is determined to return to full fitness and form.

Moreno is expected to start against Almeria.

The centre-forward said, "It will be a difficult game because Almeria are a team who are very strong at their stadium, the other day they beat the leaders of the competition and here they made things difficult for us. They are also very clear about how they play. We are aware of the importance of the game because we want to keep improving in the standings.

“I'm fine. I've been out for a few weeks because I'm aware of everything that's left and I know my body perfectly well. I'm going to keep working to get the continuity I'd like. Now comes the final stretch of the season and I have to be physically and mentally prepared to be able to help the team.

“Beating Getafe gives us a lot of confidence, but we have to keep working to add in the following games because, like us, many teams want to be in Europe next season, so it's not going to be easy."
