Villarreal striker Gerard Moreno admits he's tried everything to end his injury problems.

Moreno has been plagued by injury setbacks for the past two years.

He said, "I have tried to find many solutions, before the preseason I always work, but this year I have been more specific and focused on the lower body to be as strong as possible.

"It's going to be daily work throughout the season (the lower body) and all we did is start as soon as possible. I'm really looking forward to it, it's been a difficult two years, but I'm feeling good, confident, physically strong and working like all my teammates to get to the start of the league as well as possible and thus start strong.

"Now we start with new goals, it's always nice to be able to fight for objectives like this, try to do great things. We have to have the ambition to surpass what we did last season both in the League and in Europe, they are difficult challenges, but we have to try to continue every year and take one more step."
