Ben Brereton Diaz has confirmed he's leaving Blackburn Rovers.
Off contract in June, the Chile international is said to have agreed a pre-contract with Villarreal.
He told Lancs-Live: "All I can say is that I have had a great time at Rovers and unfortunately I will not be here next season.
"It has been a great moment in this period, I have enjoyed all my time at the club, I have made great friends and family, but that is my time."
Rovers manager Jon Dahl Tomasson also said: "Yes, this is the end for Ben. I am very happy that it ends this way. We know that it has been very good for Ben to be here, and for the club as well.
"He has had a few games at the end that he hasn't scored, so I was happy for him to finish as he finished with these goals and the way he played. He is a brilliant boy, always thinking about Rovers until the last moment. I am happy that he has finished as he has done."
