New Villarreal coach Unai Emery is raiding Valencia to boost his midfield.

Mundo Deportivo says Villarreal are in advanced talks to sign Los Che pair Francis Coquelin and Dani Parejo.

Parejo, 31, and Coquelin, 29, will sign for three and four seasons, respectively.

The pair are due at Villarreal today for their medicals.

Valencia are happy for the pair to depart with coach Javi Gracia given the brief to oversee a major clearout of players from the squad he has inherited.
