Villarreal defender Raul Albiol says they face Europa Conference League opponents Anderlecht in good shape.

Villarreal go into the game on the back of victory over Almeria.

Albiol said, “We are in the final stretch of the season, not far away from the objectives we set ourselves in LaLiga at the start of the season, which is to be in Europe next season. In the Conference League we are very excited, as we are all motivated by the possibility of playing in another European final."

“I expect a difficult game. In Europe, any game can make it difficult for you, as we saw in the group stage. Therefore, if you don't have a good day and you're not focused, any team can beat you. We have to get a good result in the first leg to be able to play the second leg with guarantees."

Villarreal meet Real Betis on Sunday and Albiol added, “Sunday's game motivates us a lot. Being able to celebrate the club's centenary at home against a great rival is a source of excitement and desire for the team. Before that we have the Conference game and we can't get distracted, but on Sunday it's true that we have a big party and hopefully we can win."
