Villarreal coach Setien: We play to win against Mallorca

Villarreal coach Quique Setien sees today's clash with Real Mallorca as a must-win.

Setien is yet to taste victory since taking charge of Villarreal.

He said, "Villarreal must always go out to win, at home or away. It's true that it's the last game in our little exile. The idea is to go into the break winning the two games we have left.

"We have analysed Mallorca, they are a well-organised team and have a lot of different styles of play. They are a well-organised team that will make things very difficult for us for sure. Nobody has ever beaten them easily, they have always compromised all their opponents. All their matches are very evenly matched.

"They (Villarreal players) have had an idea and a coach for two years, but now there is another one who is asking them for other things and now they have to change to a different idea, this is something that takes time and that we have to work on.

"There are many things that we do well and things that penalise us a lot, so we have to work to improve those things that penalise them. We are conditioned by time, as we are not being able to work on improving. It's good to be calm and have confidence in what we are doing. I'd like everything to go faster, but we've only been here eight days. That's why we have to be patient."
