Villarreal coach Quique Setien has admitted his admiration for Celta Vigo midfielder Denis Suarez.

Denis is being linked with Villarreal as Celta seek to cut him loose from his contract.

Villarreal face Celta on Friday night and Setien says they're keen on Denis and Gabri Veiga.

On Veiga, the coach said: "It is true that we have been watching him and we already know him; he is a good, talented footballer with an extraordinary future ahead, this is obvious.

"What he is doing, he is earning on the field with his performances and his way of being. And well, he is a player to take into account.

"Denis is a player that I have always liked, but here we have a lot of midfielders and of a lot of quality right now. It seems to me that we have seven midfielders, there are a lot of players who are in a good moment, so this is an issue of speculations."
