Villarreal coach Quique Setien says they'll fight for the top four until the end of the season.
Villarreal are set to meet relegation-threatened Real Valladolid this weekend.
Setien said, “We are doing well. The mood is high and we have had good training sessions this week. We are expecting a tough game against a team that has a lot of mechanisms to engage us, so we need to be very focused and into the game to maintain the line of performance we have achieved so far.
“Until the end of the season there will be a series of clashes that will alter the standings, but everything will be resolved in the last few games. I'm not overly concerned about what the others do, but what we do, because we have a difficult game against a team that is playing for their lives.
"We have already suffered setbacks against teams that are below us, but they all end up compromising you."
