Villarreal coach Pacheta relieved after late win at Maccabi Haifa: The boys are struggling

Villarreal coach Pacheta was left relieved with their 2-1 win at Europa League opponents Maccabi Haifa.

Alex Baena and Alexander Sorloth struck late for the win.

Pacheta later said: "We started with good control. We are suffering and the team is not enjoying it. They do it out of obligation, we are too tight, if we don't enjoy it it can't work.

"We had 10 chances before their goal and they came and scored. The team anguish but it is capable of recovering. I am proud of this reaction but it has to be done from minute one.

"You have to be brave, daring, energetic, not be afraid to fail. We could have scored many more goals and solved it sooner. We don't score and the team becomes desperate.

"We have to work at it, be aware of the mistakes, finish the plays, be incisive, play for our nines on the outside. It is the way to arrive and see the actions. We have the problems detected but it is difficult to fix them. We give too much of a feeling of weakness."
