Villarreal have armoured themselves from losing Samuel Chukwueze on the cheap.

The Nigeria attacker has been outstanding in a struggling team this season and has been linked with Arsenal.

AS says Chukwueze renewed this past summer when he signed a professional deal with a release clause of €63m.

Villarreal previously signed him for €500,000.

As it stands, Manchester United defender Eric Bailly is the most lucrative departure when he left for €40 million and just behind that deal was Cedric Bakambu to Beijing Guoan for €37 million.
