AS Roma midfielder and Italian international Bryan Cristante is an Aston Villa target.

The Midlands club, along with Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United, are eager to secure the all-action star, per TV Play.

The 28-year-old has played 250 games for Roma over the years, signing in 2018 on loan and then permanently.

Cristante was also a regular for Italy when they won the European Championships in 2021.

“Roma has become my second family," Cristante stated of his affection for Roma in the summer of 2022.

“I wanted to sign a new contract and I'm really happy now that it's done. I'd like to thank the owners and the club for this extension. I've been here a few years now and had the privilege of witnessing the progress made by the team and the club first hand."
