Reading striker Kevin Doyle admits he could face a major decision in the summer if they fail to win promotion back to the Premier League.
He had been linked with a move to Aston Villa after Reading's relegation from the Premier League - and the club are battling for an immediate return to the top flight.
Failure to win promotion from the Championship could lead to further questions about Doyle's situation, but the forward hopes that will not be the case.
"I hope I won't have a decision to make, but I do want to be playing in the Premier League," said Doyle in the Daily Mirror.
"I don't see any reason why we can't cope with the pressure that is going to go on now. We have been in this position a few years ago - and that sort of experience can be vital.
"Our players need to remember how we succeeded the last time."
