Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill is ready to make a firm bid for Sevilla wing-back Jose Angel Crespo.

If they fail to qualify for Europe this season, Sevilla will seek buyers for several of their top players - with Crespo having already attracted an approach from Villa during the winter market.
