Aston Villa striker Darren Bent says he holds no grudge against former club Tottenham.

Villa face Spurs on Monday night.

Bent told The Sun: "I don't think I've got anything to prove to the Spurs fans or Redknapp.

"It's been two and a half years since I left Tottenham and people keep talking about it but I've not even thought about it.

"It's about going back there with Aston Villa and taking three points - it doesn't matter who we're playing against.

"It could be Tottenham, it could be Manchester United, we're all there for the same goal and that's to get three points."
