Aston Villa striker Gabby Agbonlahor is confident Martin O'Neill will get it right at Sunderland.

Agbonlahor hit the winner at Sunderland on Saturday.

"All of us know Martin's qualities and what he has brought to every club he's managed at," he said. "Martin was great for me and I'm sure Sunderland will do well this season under him.

"At Villa he kept faith in his players and the team eventually got the results for him. We'd always put in a shift for him.

"Sunderland did that and were unlucky not to get anything."
