Aston Villa signing Robert Pires is already eyeing his next contract.
Pires knocked back fears he is over the hill at 37 by insisting he can play until 40.
Four years after he left the Gunners, a lean-looking Pires admitted: "It was fast! They are quick.
"I am fit, I've been training with Arsenal but it is easy for me to get back into it."
As for playing in the Premier League at 40 he insisted: "I think so, yes. Me, I will try. If you have the mentality, it is not a problem. Football is my passion."
