Aston Villa goalkeeper Shay Given holds no grudge against Joe Hart over his problems at Manchester City.

Now Given tips his pal, 24, to establish himself as one of the best in the world.

He said: "Joe and I worked well together last year, he ended up as first choice - but I've no issue with that, it's up to the manager to make his choice.

"Joe went on and established himself as No 1 for City and England and I've been really impressed with him.

"He's going to be one of the very best around.

"He's got a very big future ahead of him and will be at the top for many years.

"We spent a lot of time together and tried to help each other, so hopefully we learned from each other.

"I've no issues with Joe or anyone at City about the way it worked out there."
