Aston Villa goalkeeper Shay Given doesn't expect Sunderland fans to totally focus on Darren Bent this weekend.

Given, thanks to his Newcastle United background, also expects pelters.

"I think it will be a competition between me and Darren as to who gets more stick!" said the Republic of Ireland international to Villa's website.

"I've had some receptions whenever I've been back there and I'm sure it will be the same for Darren.

"But Alan Shearer said a few years ago that fans don't boo bad players - if Darren gets booed it will because they miss him up there. It won't bother either of us as long as we get the victory."
