Aston Villa defender Richard Dunne says Manchester City can rule the Premier League for years to come.
The former City captain is rooting for his old club against Manchester United in the make-or-break derby.
Dunne, 32, told the Daily Star Sunday: "Tomorrow's game is tough to call from the point of view that United have the experience of winning important games but City have the better recent form.
"If City win, they will go on and win the league but if United don't lose then the title is theirs.
"Yet it is inevitable that City eventually will become champions. They are the biggest payers and once they start winning trophies they will be viewed as an acceptable choice for the top, top players to move to.
"And when that happens they become an even bigger and better club than they already are."
