Villa captain Vlaar insists QPR six-pointer won't decide survival hopes

Aston Villa captain Ron Vlaar says their six-pointer against QPR won't decide their survival hopes.

He has warned his team-mates they must keep accumulating points to stay out of the danger zone this weekend and beyond.

"On Saturday it is another massive game for us and an important one. We want to win and to get two wins in a row would be great for us. That's what we look forward to now and we will work towards that game this week.

"Even if we win against QPR there is a long way to go. It has given us confidence and belief - you could sense it with the fans as well as the team. It was very good."
