Aston Villa striker John Carew insists they can pip Everton for fifth place and UEFA Cup qualification.

After Sunday's 2-2 draw, Carew said: "We have a good chance now. We have a home game with Wigan, difficult, but still one we know we can win. Then we go to West Ham on the last day so it is not going to be easy.

"It is a great moment that we have created for ourselves, we have got one point from Everton and we believe we can complete the task.

"We still have the belief that we can overhaul them (Everton). A great belief.

"We have a difficult match with Wigan, but they certainly have a difficult game at Arsenal. And we have a better goal difference."
