Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill admits he doesn't want to sell Thomas Sorensen.

Scott Carson's arrival from Liverpool means Villa now have three senior goalkeepers, but pointing to the loan signing of Gabor Kiraly last term, O'Neill is in no rush to let a keeper go.

He added: "From the experience of last season, you would have said that you need three keepers. I am in absolutely no hurry now to be offloading anyone.

"If I can have competition for places outfield, why can I not have competition for places in goal?"
