Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill says teenager Nathan Delfouneso has all the ability to follow Gabriel Agbonlahor into the full England team.

O'Neill will field Delfouneso against UEFA Cup opponents MSK Zilina tonight and said: "It's all very well saying a boy has come through from the Academy but it's no good if he plays one or two games.

"Gabby has come through and now plays for his country. But Nathan won't be a one-hit wonder.

"There is an awful lot of natural ability there. He can go past players and he's getting stronger.

"He's been training with the first team 85 per cent of the time so he's used to it. I don't think he'll be overawed.

"I've great confidence in him. I don't care if he does not get a kick. But he'll be playing for the youth team against Arsenal next week."
