Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill supports a midseason break for the Premiership.

"If you asked managers there would be decent support," said O'Neill. "Just missing one weekend would make a difference.

"Players could get away with their families. Bad weather isn't the point.

"But in the absence of that, if there's any opportunity for the players to get away then we will send them away."
